Kolkata - Gangasagar - Puri Jagannath

The Jagannath temple in the coastal town of Puri is sacred to the Vaishnava tradition. Here the wooden form of Jagannatha, Balabhadra and Subhadra are worshiped on an elevated platform.

Day	Activity	Particulars
Day 1	Arrival in Kolkata	Welcome to the “City of Joy”. Check into the hotel. After breakfast check out from hotel and proceed for Kolkata city tour visit Belur Math, the headquarters of Ramkrishna mission and Dakshineshwar. Mohan Bagan sports club, Eden gardens cricket stadium, Victoriya Memorial (Photo stop only), Fort William & Writers Building. Evening visit Kali temple. Night halt in Kolkata.
Day 2	Gangasagar Excursion	After early breakfast start for full day excursion to Gangasagar – An island in the confluence of River Ganga & Bay of Bengal & famous for Kapil Muni Ashram which is considered to be a great religious significance. Evening return back to Kolkata. Overnight stay at hotel. Note: We will provide Ac vehicle for Kolkata to Ferry Ghat i.e. Lot No. 8 / Harwood Point (90 Km.) & back to Kolkata. After reaching Lot No. 8 you will board the ferry to cross the Muriganga River for Kachuberia. From here you will be transferred to Sagar island and back to Ferry Jetty by a private vehicle (ac sumo/similar car). Please do not forget to reconfirm the return ferry timings (Kachuberia to Lot No 8) with the authority as it depends on the tide timings.
Day 3	Kolkata to Puri	After breakfast check out from hotel and board 12277 Satabdi Express from HWH to puri. Night halt in Puri. (cost not included)
Day 4	Puri Local Sightseeing	After breakfast visit Shankaracharya Mutt and take the blessing of Lord Jagannath. Night halt in Puri.
Day 5	Puri – Bhubaneshwar	After breakfast, check out from hotel and proceed to Bhubaneshwar. Enroute visit the famous Sun Temple at Konark and Pipili Village known for its handicrafts. Evening visit Lingaraj temple. Night halt in Bhubaneshwar.
Day 6	Nandankanan Zoo – Dhouli– Khandagiri - Udaigiri	Visit the Nandankanan zoo (Monday closed), the second largest Zoo in India and also the only zoo where you can see the White tiger. Visit the peace Pagoda at Dhouli and famous caves at Khandagiri and Udaigiri. Night halt at Bhubaneshwar.
Day 7	Departure for Mumbai	Proceed towards Biju Patnaik Bhubaneshwar airport for your return journey. Carry home sweet memories of the trip.
