Day 1

 Mangalore Airport to Mangalore City 

Arrive at Mangalore airport. Proceed to the coastal town of Mangalore. Visit Kadri Manjunatha temple and Mangala Devi temple from where the town gets its name. Evening visit the Kudroli Gokarnatheswar temple- a beautiful temple which looks splendid under lights. Night halt in Mangalore.
Day 2

 Mangalore – Kukke Subramanya – Dharmasthala

Proceed towards Kukke Subramanya situated on the banks of the Kumaradhara river. Darshan and lunch. Later proceed to Dharmasthala for darshan of Shri Manjunatha. Night halt in Ujjire.  
Day 3

Dharmasthala – Horanadu - Sringeri

Visit Horanadu Annapooraneshwari Devi mandir. Proceed to Sringeri, believed to be the first Mutt established by Sri Adi Shankaracharya. The residence of the Shankaracharya is located on the other side of Tunga river which can be crossed by walking over the bridge. Enroute you can shop for some fresh tea and coffee powder. Night halt in Sringeri.
Day 4

Sringeri – Murudeshwar – Gokarna

Proceed to to Murudeshwar which boasts of one of the tallest Shivastatue and then visit Gokarna Mahabaleshwar Temple which has the world’s only Atmalingam brought here by Shiva bhakt Ravan and then. Night halt in Murudeshwar.
Day 5

Murudeshwar – Kollu – Udupi

Proceed to Kollur to visit Mookambika temple located on the banks of the river Souparnika. It is believed that the Goddess Parvathi temple was created by Parshuram and then proceed to the temple town Udupi to visit Shri Krishna temple where darshan is through a nine hole window from the backside. Night halt in Udupi.
Day 6

Udupi – Mangalore Airport

Visit Mahishamardini temple and Kateel Durga Parmeshwari temple and then proceed to the airport.

  • We will be passing through thick jungles on some of the days where facilities for lunch may be just basic. One should not expect too much luxury in this trip.
